The Whitman walking tour by Jesse Merandy was both informative and inspirational. Our “tour leader” name was Jesse Merandy. As we ‘Walked with Whitman” through downtown Brooklyn, Jesse showed us many things that in some way form of fashion related to Whitman. I always heard that is beautiful and expensive when it comes to real estate, however never been in the Heights. After the tour, Me, Fab Fab, Chase and Danique decided to have lunch together at Grimaldi’s Brooklyn location. This was my first time eating pizza from there and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Our tour guides told us that back then in the 19Th century Brooklyn and the city weren’t really connected.
